I would like to announce a small eBook I am going to release. It is called “The Shadows” and it is a short story that I have written.
While AMW is still very much in progress to completion, I wanted to release something in the mean time, just to give you a sense of what I am capable of writing. This has been a super secret project that I’ve been working on for a while, and I’m so glad I finally get to share it with you all.
Just to give a little bit of background information on it, “The Shadows” is a modern-day fantasy that revolves around the Council of the Sun Spirits (the shadows). They meet at the end of each day to discuss the progress of humankind, based on their observations throughout the day. However, there is one instance where the Chieftain threatens eternal darkness on the world, and it’s going to take a lot of conviction to talk him out of such a decision.
I would like to throw out there that this is not- I repeat not– a preview to AMW by any means. “The Shadows” is its own, separate work. What I can say though is that there a mentioning of someone who makes an appearance in the novel, but I’m not going to say who it is. You’re just going to have to wait and see.
So in other words, if you want to think in music industry terms, AMW is basically an LP, whereas this is an EP. This is me saying, “I’m not quite done with the novel yet, but let me give you something to read in the meantime.”
Not to go full-on Beyoncé (if you know what I mean), but I’m going to release it a week from today; Tuesday May 27. Another thing to keep in mind is that “The Shadows” will be the only way you can find out the title of my novel, that is until I make an announcement regarding that later. I will post the link for the eBook here on my blog once it goes online.
