So this has been in the making for only a short period of time, but it’s now online and I figured it be worth mentioning now.
I am now a blogger for a newly established book blog called The Wind-Up Books Chronicle (and yes, the title is a head nod to Haruki Murakami’s novel, The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle). Together with bloggers Draven Katayama (a.k.a. loudlysilent) and Lilith Wood, we will be reviewing books that we will have read that we love, like, or warn you to avoid. Also, every few months or so, we will read the same book at the same time, and give our thoughts about it together.
When I was first recruited for this, I thought of how nice it would be to blog about books again. I did so previously when I used to blog for Patch Media, but ever since that chain of websites have pretty much gone kaputz, I’ve only reserved my thoughts and opinions on the books I read for reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. So therefore, to be a part of a site that’s exclusively for the purpose of reviewing books, with a team of people who are also just as into reading as well (a rarity nowadays for sure), it’s a joy and experience that I’m thrilled to be on the ride for.
There’s already a review on there now written by Draven, and it’s on Sophia Amoruso’s #GirlBoss. I shall be posting first post on there fairly soon so keep an eye out for that.
So please go check out The Wind-Up Books Chronicle if you’re interested, and I’ll be back tomorrow as I continue my month-long series, “Behind the Moments.”
