Hey everyone! If you recall from my announcement for An Absolute Mind last month, I said that I would provide information this month on how to pre-order it. Well, that post has finally arrived!
An Absolute Mind is available for pre-order for Amazon Kindle and on Smashwords. If that sounds like a smaller number of outlets than the amount that carry A Moment’s Worth, do not fret, for there’s more. Smashwords is the outlet that will expand out to other distributors such as NOOK (the ebook reader through Barnes & Noble), iTunes, Kobo and others once approved for the Premium Catalogue. Based upon previous experience, this does not take that much time, so once the book has been approved, you should be able to find it in other outlets within the next few weeks.
If you’re wondering why I haven’t mentioned the print version of the book yet, I’m getting to that now. The platform for that version of the novel does not allow me to do pre-orders for it, which is why you won’t see the print version available until the actual day of the release… on Amazon. The print version will be given an expanded distribution to other venues as well such as Barnes & Noble, but that will unfortunately take a few weeks after the release date before it’s visible. I know that sounds pretty crummy, but that is something that’s a little out of my hands.
If you click on the tab above entitled “Books,” you’ll see that An Absolute Mind has been added to my list of publications. Updates on the book’s availability will be made there as time goes on if you want to spare yourself the detective work.
One more thing: An Absolute Mind now has a page on Goodreads. If you have an account on the website, please go check it out, for updates will be made to that as time goes on. I would love to see how many people will add it to their “to-read” list before the release date.
That’s all the information I have for now about pre-orders. Go nuts and go buy An Absolute Mind before the release date, so that way you’ll have it the minute it’s officially released. Thanks for reading, and I’ll be back on Saturday with my regularly scheduled post.
