Special Sunday Post: How to Get in Contact with Me

Okay, so I’ve heard from others in the past on how it’s a little difficult to contact me. That doesn’t surprise me that that is the case, and I apologize. As an independent author, I don’t have any representatives to answer any inquiries that may come in, and as a way to protect myself from spam messages and messages from no life low-lives, I find it necessary to limit just who is able to get in touch with me. Having a business card of mine will make that avenue several times easier. For everyone else though, if you want to contact me, this is how you can do it: Continue reading “Special Sunday Post: How to Get in Contact with Me”

Thoughts About Storytelling in Other People’s Universes

As storytellers of varying mediums, we carry the gift of not only coming up with unique characters experiencing interesting situations that can span across genres, but we also contain the ability to create entirely unique universes. No story has to take place here on Earth, as worlds of different kinds can become the setting stage, for the likely event of something truly extraordinary taking place that would otherwise be impossible – at least, for the most part. But with so many stories and narratives already out there that have stood the test of time in terms of relevancy and popularity, it can be tempting to also consider the possibility: What would it be like to apply one’s storytelling gift in another person’s universe? Happy 1st Anniversary to “An Absolute Mind”!

If I feel that the calendar year of 2017 is moving at the speed of light, then you can only imagine how stunned I am that three days ago marked one year since I released my second novel, An Absolute Mind. It was conceived four years prior, and spent two and a half years in the making before being released out to the world, at the beginning of a turning point in history for the United States. Just to jog your memory as to what this novel is about, here is the synopsis: Continue reading “Happy 1st Anniversary to “An Absolute Mind”!”

Special Wednesday Post: A Year of “An Absolute Mind”

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since the release of my second novel, An Absolute Mind. It’s been on quite a journey since then, especially during this time of history we are in for the United States.

I will give a more in-depth reflection on it this Saturday. In the mean time, if you haven’t already, please go buy the book and if you’ve read it already, please leave a review somewhere. Also, as a reminder, tonight I’m doing a live reading of the first few chapters from the book on Instagram Live, so you have an account on there, then please tune in at 8:30PM PST.

I look forward to seeing some of you then.

Hopefully Gaining Inspiration From Places

As briefly noted in my previous blog post, I was in the Pacific Northwest last weekend; specifically Seattle, Washington. While the main purpose was to visit a friend, it also made for the ultimate opportunity to explore a place I’ve never been to before. Seattle is a city that has been on my bucket list for quite some time, and I wanted to use up as many moments during my trip to get to know the place. Inspiration Between Universes Part II: Recommended Reading

This week’s post is coming to you with the intent to lead you elsewhere, for as you are reading this, I am out exploring the Pacific Northwest for my first time. As a result, it seemed well timed for another opportunity for Recommended Analyzing, as I give way to an analysis piece regarding the latest “Star Wars Rebels” episode; where a mysterious yet highly anticipated creature is finally introduced into this galaxy far far away.
