What Did I Miss?: The One Day Early Edition (March 25th-31st)

For those who follow this blog, you might be wondering why this is coming to you a day early. Well, I want to pause from my usual Saturday blog post today, for I am in mourning. My family unexpectedly lost our sweet dog Tonks yesterday, and the grief is real.

I don’t care if you think she was just a pet. Having grown up around dogs, it goes without saying that they are family. If you want to learn more about what she was like, apart from a video I had posted on Instagram, you might find it interesting that she was an influence for the character of Heiki in An Absolute Mind. There are many traces of Tonks within that fictional dog, that pop out as natural assets.

She was a radiating presence in my life for ten glorious years. I shall miss her dearly.

I’ll be back to the regular swing of things next week. For now though, here is what you missed:

  1. So sorry to hear about the dog, they are totally a part of the family. The only dog we ever had was a retriever called Chester, and the day he died was the first time I properly properly experienced loss. Big big hug! x
