Special Monday Post: I’m Now on Ko-fi!

Hey everyone!

So you might notice my homepage looks slightly different as of recently. You might see how there is a button on the right hand side that says “Buy Me a Coffee.” If you click on that button, that will take you directly on over to my brand new Ko-fi page. For those who don’t know what Ko-fi is, it is a crowdfunding platform for creators of all mediums, but without as much stress and commitment on either end as opposed to similar platforms like Patreon. It’s a way for creators to receive small donations/tips from fans of their content. Amount-wise, donations can be equivalent to the amount you’d otherwise spend on coffee (hence the metaphor).

So why did I decide to start a Ko-fi page, you ask? It all comes down to wanting to be compensated for everything I do. I do a lot of writing, and I often have new material coming out almost every week. As a matter of fact, I’m about to start conducting interviews again this week for feature pieces I have coming soon. A lot of the writing I do – novels and script writing included – I either get paid very little for or not at all. My long term goal is to eventually become a full-time writer, and so this is my way of starting to make that happen.

If you enjoy my writing and appreciate what I do, I’d love for you to show your support over on Ko-fi. Remember that there’s no firm commitment in how much or how frequently you donate. All and any support will be highly appreciated. If I can get thing going off to a strong start, who knows? Down the line, maybe I might toss in some perks for supporters.

So please go support me on Ko-fi if you’re able to and pass the word along to others.

Thank you!
