Surprise, surprise.  The weekend isn’t even over yet and I already have another blog post for you all.  And here’s the kicker… this one wasn’t even planned.

My Name Is Lauren… And I’m A Millennial

I’ve always been known to be an “old soul.”  I actually enjoy reading, I keep journals, I don’t like to go clubbing, I’m very selective about when I talk, I get along better with people who are older than me than people my own age, and so on.

However, I still have to be real.  I’m not as old as my mentality would show otherwise.  I’m what’s commonly referred to as a millennial.

Countdown: T-Minus 2-3 Months(-ish)

A lot has been going on with the book (AMW) since the previous update on it.  It’s moving right along in terms of getting ready to be read by others.

Within the past few months of keeping this blog, I’ve unraveled bits and pieces about my book in progress, bit by bit.  I’m primarily keeping it under wraps for the sake of protecting the content until the day comes where it’s available to everyone and anyone who’s interested in reading it.  But with the fact that the month of its release is approaching fast now, I figured I should start revealing a little bit more about it.

Reality Can Be Beautiful Too!

We escape into fiction- in the forms of books, TV shows and movies- to escape reality.  We escape into fiction sometimes, for the sake of searching for something greater that may seem impossible to find otherwise in this really real world of ours.  But sometimes, that’s not always necessary.

The time is getting closer.  The not-quite-designated-yet-still-rather-solidified day is becoming of the not-so, far out horizon.  But there’s still much to do.
