(Before I dive into today’s topic, I do want to acknowledge the fact that yes, I am aware that it’s been about a month since I did one of my regular blog posts. That was unplanned, but trust me when I say that I have a really good reason for doing so. Aside from work having been busier than usual at my day job, I also have been hard at work on a project I am writing. It hasn’t been officially announced yet, but stay tuned. 6 Years of Lola By the Bay and My 2019 Year in Review

Another year has come and gone by on a whim, and here I am once more, looking back on the past eleven months of writing on this blog, on other spaces of the Internet, and beyond. Although this will be a reflection on the year, I sense a weight to it that hasn’t been there the previous times I’ve done one of these, likely because this is the last retrospect for the decade.

The Search is Over

For a while, I wasn’t sure if I would say anything on the matter. However, seeing that I have provided updates about it for the better part of a half year, it made sense to follow up on it.

It’s been six months since YOMYOMF got shut down, and since then, I’ve been struggling with finding a new outlet to venture out to. I’m happy to now say that apart from now being a contributor to my job’s blog, I’ve also become a part of not one but two other outlets.
