The Decision to Put My Third Novel on Hiatus

The title alone speaks for itself as to what this post is about, and to be quite frank, this has not been an easy decision for me to make.

Since my update about my third novel from back in January, I unfortunately still haven’t made a lot of progress with writing it. My most recent update on it is that I’ve managed to hammer out a fairly long chapter in it – and by recent, I mean that this was a little over a month ago. 4 Years of Lola By the Bay/ 2017 Year in Review

I don’t know about anyone else, but this year came and went uneasily fast. Now it wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for everything that has happened throughout the past eleven months, and it also doesn’t help that I just generally feel exhausted and not myself at this time of year. But with the fact that not only is the year about to close out, but also that two days ago marked four years since the establishment of this blog, it’s only right that I close the year out with my annual year in review. Hopefully Gaining Inspiration From Places

As briefly noted in my previous blog post, I was in the Pacific Northwest last weekend; specifically Seattle, Washington. While the main purpose was to visit a friend, it also made for the ultimate opportunity to explore a place I’ve never been to before. Seattle is a city that has been on my bucket list for quite some time, and I wanted to use up as many moments during my trip to get to know the place.
